For sale is a 1978 Gold Submariner featuring a top hat crystal and oyster bracelet. The bracelet is full length with some stretch from the years of wear. It’s still very wearable. The date code is stamped “D” 78/79.
The watch case retains a very nice gold case and a serial number of 5.6 million dating to 1978.
The dial and insert are spotless with matching tritium. The watch runs well but I don’t know of any prior service history.
